SANAA, July 21 (YPA) – The leader of the Yemeni revolution , Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, reaffirmed Yemen's firm position in supporting the Palestinian people in Gaza, stressing that the Yemeni people will persist their multidimensional support for Gaza, through military operations, popular activities, and mobilization. In a speech on Sunday, marking the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Zayd ibn Ali (peace be upon them), Sayyed Abdul-Malik said that 'the Yemeni people, in their comprehensive and ongoing movement since the beginning of the aggression on Gaza, remain firm in their stance despite two successive rounds of military aggression —an American, British, and Israeli aggression, in which they launched thousands of airstrikes on the country.' He added, 'Our position is steadfast in supporting the Palestinian people and confronting American-Israeli tyranny, and we are confident in Allah's true promise of victory.' Sayyed Abdul-malik stated that ' Yemen, in its stance with Gaza, is facing a massive propaganda war aimed at dismantling the people's direction and diverting them from their major causes. At the forefront is the Palestinian cause.' 'The insight of our people and their Qur'anic awareness are the foundation of their great steadfastness and unwavering faith,' he said. Sayyed Abdul-Malik confirmed: ' Our people will continue their active and serious movement in all fields—military operations, popular activities, and mobilization efforts. Our path in confronting American and Israeli tyranny and its extensions in the Ummah is one guided by the insight of the Holy Qur'an. 'Our movement against American and Israeli tyranny is rooted in faith and is a genuine path that spans generations in this Ummah,' Sayyed Abdul-malik stressed. In his speech, Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, condemned the inaction of the Arab and Islamic nations amid the humanitarian catastrophe unfolding in Gaza. He further stressed that the collective failure to support Palestinians in the besieged enclave carries dire consequences both in this world and the hereafter. 'The nation is witnessing the scale of the tragedy and injustice in Gaza,' he said. 'To watch and abandon responsibility is a grave danger to the Ummah.' Sayyed al-Houthi underscored the immense suffering in Gaza, where hundreds of thousands are enduring severe hunger and brutal siege conditions. He noted that 'the people of Gaza are starving, surrounded by hundreds of millions of Arabs and over two billion Muslims who merely watch and stand idle.' Earlier in the day, Yemenis took to the Al-Matar Street in the capital, Sana'a with mass rally marking the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Zayd ibn Ali (peace be upon them).

Sanaa calls for urgent int'l intervention regarding critical conditions of expatriates in Saudi Arabia

SANAA, July 17 (YPA) – The Sanaa-based Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jamal Amer, called for urgent international intervention regarding the critical humanitarian and legal conditions facing a large number of Yemeni expatriates detained in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This came in the letters he sent to both the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, Volker Türk, the President of the United Nations Human Rights Council, Jürg Lauber, and the IOM Director General, Amy Pope. The letters confirmed that the ministry in Sanaa had received numerous documented reports from citizens and their families, as well as from concerned civil society organizations, indicating practices that contravene the most basic principles of human rights and international law against Yemeni expatriates in Saudi Arabia. These practices focused in private on the arbitrary detention of many expatriates who were arrested without clear charges or being brought to trial within a reasonable timeframe in accordance with international legal standards. The ministry's letters indicated that practices attributed to complex administrative procedures related to deportation or the lack of a sponsor, which unlawfully deprive these individuals of their liberty and place their families in an extremely difficult humanitarian and economic situation. In addition, Yemeni diplomatic and consular missions in Saudi Arabia face difficulty in accessing detainees and depriving them of their fundamental right to defend themselves and to exercise of their internationally guaranteed legal rights. The minister pointed out that these practices not only contravened fundamental principles of human rights and international law, but also exacerbated the humanitarian suffering of citizens already living under extremely harsh conditions due to the aggression and blockade in Yemen. He stated that these conditions constituted a clear violation of numerous international instruments to which states were bound, including the principles related to the right to liberty, personal security, and a fair trial. Minister Amer expressed the Sanaa government's confidence in the vital role that the OHCHR, the United Nations Human Rights Council, and the IOM played in protecting and providing assistance to migrants and displaced persons around the world. He called on these organizations to urgently and directly intervene to address this urgent humanitarian issue by urging the Saudi authorities to immediately release Yemeni detainees who have completed their sentences or who are being arbitrarily detained without legal basis, in accordance with their international obligations.

'Israel' exploits aid centers in Gaza to recruit informants

GAZA, July 04 (YPA) – The true objectives of the fake aid centers that established by the US-Israeli occupation in Gaza has been revealed day after day, in addition to turning them into death traps. The occupation forces has exploited the center to recruit and meet with informants, smuggle drugs, and implicate some young people, bringing them down and assigning them to espionage missions. According to what Al Jazeera reported, quoting a senior security official in the Hamas movement, the Israeli intelligence services have been exploiting aid points in the Gaza Strip to carry out security activities, recruit collaborators, meet with them, and smuggle large quantities of drugs. According to the security official, attempts to smuggle spying equipment and modern phones to spies carrying out dangerous security missions were thwarted. 'We arrested spies who were tasked with smuggling large quantities of drugs from intelligence officers within the aid team,' the official added. 'The drugs are used to frame young people, bring them down, link them to security, and assign them espionage missions.' He called on some local companies not to be involved in the occupation's scheme and legitimize its crimes. Earlier in the day, the Gaza-based Ministry of Interior and National Security warned against dealing, cooperating, or interacting, directly or indirectly, with the American organization called the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) or its local agents or those outside the Gaza Strip.

Sanaa condemns Zionist aggression on Iran

SANAA, June 13 (YPA) – The Sanaa government condemned the blatant Zionist attack that targeted the Iranian capital, Tehran, and several other cities. In a statement issued Friday, the government described the aggression as 'illegal and unjustified,' labeling it a new episode in the 'series of Zionist recklessness' in the region, backed by clear US involvement. It stated that the attack came following a systematic Western escalation against the Islamic Republic under the guise of the so-called International Atomic Energy Agency, stressing that fabricating pretexts is nothing new for the 'forces of evil.' The government viewed the unjust sanctions and brutal aggression against Iran as a desperate attempt by the United States and the Zionist entity to undermine Iran's principled and unwavering support for the Palestinian people. It expressed full confidence that Iran's support for the Palestinian cause will continue, asserting that 'the flame of resistance will remain burning despite any pressures, threats, or sacrifices.' The statement affirmed that the Islamic Republic, as always, 'will remain a support for the oppressed and will continue to work to end what is considered the crime of the age.' The Government also extended its deepest condolences to the people, leadership, and government of the Islamic Republic of Iran for all the martyrs who fell during the aggression. It expressed confidence in Iran's ability to respond to the attack and to any violations of its sovereignty and the rights of its people. The statement held the Zionist entity and its international partners—chief among them the United States—fully responsible for all the serious consequences and repercussions of this aggression. It concluded with a fiery message: 'Those who ignite fires in the region will be the ones burned by them, and the arrogance of power will inevitably shatter against the rock of truth and steadfastness.'
